Celebrating The Feast Of Our Lady Of Guadalupe
Miracle Of The Roses Pageant
This pageant celebrates the date of the appearances of the Virgin Mary to Juan Diego on Tepeyac Hill near Mexico City from December 9th through December 12th, 1531. This revelation is referred to as the “Miracle of the Roses”. At the Basilica of Guadalupe in Mexico, millions of people come from all over the world to honor her. Our pageant honors Our Lady of Guadalupe with the reenactment of the events of December 12, 1531.
The pageant takes place at the Mission on the second Saturday of December each year. The actors in the play perform on a stage set up inside the Mission. Light refreshments are served to the attendees on the Mission grounds immediately following the performance. Check the Calendar of Events for the exact date and time of the next pageant.
